Wakariaeru itsuka kitto
Chikadzukitai motto
Itami ga mata modosu kioku madowaseru kara

Seijaku kara nigeru karada
Miminari dake hibiku
Senaka goshi no koe wa hosoku toosugiru kara

Watashi ni wa misenai kao o ano ko ni miseru no?

Eien o negau nara
Ichido dake dakishimete
Aoku nijimu sora no shita de

Mou nando mo norikoeta wa
Machikutabireta yoru
Daijoubu to mune ni chikau koto ga kanashii

Anata ni wa misenai kao mo hontou wa misetai

Nemuri kara sameta nara
Mou soko ni wa genjitsu dake
Daremo inai asa wa kiteta [1]

Kono heya wa tameiki to
Sou itsumo no genjitsu dake

Eien o negau nara
Ichido dake dakishimete
Aoku nijimu sora no shita de

I'm sure you'll come to understand one day;
I want to be closer to you...
The memories brought back by my pain confuse me.

My body runs away from the silence;
All I can hear is noises in my ears...
Your voice behind me is too weak and too far away.

Do you show her a side of you that you don't show me?

If you're going to wish it'll last forever,
Hold me just once
Under the blurry blue sky.

I've lived through so many nights
When I got tired of waiting;
It's sad swearing to my heart that it'll be all right...

The truth is, I want to show a side of me I don't usually show you.

Once you've woken up from sleep
All that's left is reality --
Morning came and nobody was there.

All there is in this room
Is, yeah, sighs and the usual reality.

If you're going to wish it'll last forever,
Hold me just once
Under the blurry blue sky.
Oasis Heart3's Note:
[!!] This song is usually called "Chiriyuku Yuube" (I used to call it that, too!!)...but most Japanese sites -- including an English avex page (which is gone, but now cached on the Internet Archive) -- list it as "Sariyuku Yuube". And since Do As Infinity works for Avex, I had to go with Avex's transliteration. ^^;

     Technically, they're both the same..."Chiriyuku" is the more correct (and literal) meaning. It's derived from the word 散る (chiru - to fall, to scatter). But I guess Van wanted to be creative/poetic. She probably took this word: 散華 (sange - falling [as flowers do]; dying a glorious death), or this word: 去る (saru - to leave, to go away), and made the kanji become "Sariyuku Yuube" instead of Chiriyuku Yuube". So...I suppose a more accurate translation of the title is "Dying Night", as opposed to "Falling Evening".

[1] In the album/acoustic version of "Sariyuku Yuube", the song stops after this line is sung.
